Roman Polanski: Another year under house arrest?

Star director Roman Polanski has been estimated by the Swiss government, could another year under house arrest in Switzerland. Should the Swiss judicial authorities decide to hand over the director in the U.S., however, he could still appeal, said Justice Minister Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf, the newspaper Le Matin on Sunday. Polanski might therefore prefer the Federal Criminal Court and then before the Federal Court. The extradition process could, therefore, "take several months to a year." The Polish-French director was arrested in late September at the behest of the United States in Zurich. The U.S. Justice wants to take him because of the sexual abuse of a 13-year-olds more than 30 years to account.
